RONKONKMA, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Suffolk County police are investigating after a man was seriously injured when he fell from a rolling vehicle at a Long Island gas station Monday morning.
According to officials, at approximately 8:40 a.m., a 48-year-old man pulled his 2020 Ford up to a Mobil gas station pump located at 322 Ronkonkoma Ave. in Ronkonkoma.
As he exited the vehicle, it began to roll backward and the driver fell to the pavement.
The driver was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, authorities said.
