EAST PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the stabbing death of a man during a fight on Sunday night.
At at approximately 8 p.m., police responded to a report of a fight in an apartment complex at 9 Pondview Dr. in East Patchogue.
Prior to police arrival, Justin Evans, who was stabbed in the neck during the fight, was transported in a private vehicle to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk, officials said.
Evans, 22, of Bay Shore, was pronounced dead a short time later.
