
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- Long Island officials arrested a teen boy early Saturday after he repeatedly shot another teen with a BB gun, authorities said.
According to detectives, at 12:05 a.m., a 19-year-old man responded to his friend’s residence in Farmingdale to discuss an issue they had earlier in the night.
The victim arrived in Farmingdale and the 15-year-old boy approached the victim after he exited his vehicle.
The teen was approximately 5 feet from the victim when he displayed a black BB handgun and shot the victim three times.
The victim was struck in the left leg, left side of his face and below his left eye.
The victim suffered a serious injury to his left eye and his parents transported him to an area hospital for treatment.
The arrested 15-year-old boy was charged with assault. He will be arraigned later today at First District Court Youth Part.
