
CEDARHURST, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating a man discovered swastikas while walking through a Long Island park Sunday night, authorities said Monday.
According to detectives, at 8:10 p.m., a man was walking through a park located at 235 Cedarhurst Avenue when he became aware of three swastikas scratched into the playground equipment.
The etchings were approximately 5” x 5” in size.
Police were notified and responded to the location.
The investigation remains ongoing.
