BLUE POINT, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Suffolk County detectives are investigating the murder of a man who was found on a Long Island beach Tuesday morning, authorities said.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. officers responded to a Blue Point beach at the end of Blue Point Avenue after a passerby reported a body on the beach.
Upon arrival, officers found Carlos Lopez with stab wounds.
Lopez, 27, of Central Islip, was pronounced dead at the scene.
