LISBON, N.Y. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A woman was killed in a cow attack at an Upstate New York farm this week, authorities said.

Flor Lopez, 28, was working at the Flack Farm in Lisbon, a town near the Canadian border, during Sunday’s attack, according to the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

Lopez was tending to a newborn calf when a nearby cow charged at her and struck her multiple times, the sheriff’s office said.

She was transported to Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

An autopsy was scheduled to determine her exact cause of death as the investigation continues, the sheriff’s office said.

It's unclear what happened to the cow involved in the attack.
