SAYVILLE, N.Y. (WCBS 880) — The search is underway for three men who police said stole thousands of dollars worth of Apple products from a Target store on Long Island earlier this week.
The trio asked to see a product in a locked display case at the Target located at 5750 Eastbound Sunrise Service Rd. in Sayville around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Once the case was opened, police said the men swiped several Apple watches, AirPods and two iPads.

The suspects allegedly shoved an employee out of the way as the worker tried to stop them from leaving and police said the trio then fled the scene in a silver sedan.
The stolen merchandise was valued at approximately $7,994.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
