NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Westchester County pharmacy is under investigation after allegedly charging $20 for COVID-19 vaccines, according to a report.

The unspecified pharmacy allegedly charged $20 per shot and is now being investigated by New York state and Westchester County, NBC New York reported.

In an interview with the outlet, Westchester County Executive George Latimer said anyone who paid for a COVID-19 vaccine should report the incident to the county.

"No one should ever pay for a vaccination," he said in the interview. "When we see that that's happening or someone is asking you for money… that's illegal, and we want to stop it."
