NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A woman was arrested after she allegedly threatened to "pop" officers responding to a fight in New Rochelle over the weekend, authorities said.

At about 1:28 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, New Rochelle Police responded to a report of two women engaged in a physical altercation in front of 71 Lincoln Ave., officials said.

Upon arrival, officers found one of the women visibly agitated and uncooperative. In an effort to assist in calming down the woman, officers called the Mobile Crisis Response Team to provide assistance.

The woman, identified by police as Olivia Wilson, 27, declined help and made a direct threat toward the officers, stating she would "pop" them, authorities said.

During the investigation, officers discovered that the woman was in possession of a loaded handgun at the time she issued the threat.

Wilson was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, and assault.
