
BRIDGETON, N.J. (1010 WINS) - Police are searching for man accused of robbing a New Jersey Walgreens of over $5,000 at gunpoint Monday night.
The suspect entered the pharmacy located on East Broad Street in Bridgeton at about 10 p.m., just before the location was set to close and asked to use the restroom, authorities said.
He then pulled a gun and demanded money from a cashier, police said.
The man then told store employees to open the safe while he held them at gunpoint, according to police.
There were no injuries reported.
