NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A driver was beaten with a baseball bat on Thursday night after an altercation on a highway in Saddle Brook, New Jersey Police said.
Troopers responded to a report of an ongoing assault on Route 80 west near exit 62.
Upon arrival, they found a victim who had been struck by a male suspect with a bat. There were no serious injuries.
Police said the suspect fled prior to their arrival.
The investigation remains ongoing.
