
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An SUV crashed into a Long Island pharmacy Saturday night after colliding with another car at an intersection, authorities said.
Just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Stanton Avenue in Baldwin, a 26-year-old man driving a Honda CRV collided with a 44-year-old woman driving a Kia Forte, police said.
The Honda crashed into a pharmacy at 1655 Grand Avenue as a result of the collision and caused damage to the exterior glass, according to officials.
The driver and two passengers of the Honda, a 27-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, were taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Emergency responders also transported the driver of the Kia to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Building inspectors arrived at the scene to secure the building. No other injuries were reported as a result.
