LOS ANGELES (1010 WINS) -- Dawn Wells, the actress known for playing Mary Ann in the popular 1960s sitcom “Gilligan’s Island,” died Wednesday of causes related to COVID-19. She was 82.
Her publicist Harlan Boll announced her death.
Wells married talent agent Larry Rosen in 1962, and they divorced five years later, as Gilligan's Island was coming to an end.
She is survived by her stepsister, Weslee Wells.
