ISELIN, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Multiple employees of a New Jersey jewelry store were injured after a smash-and-grab robbery on Friday night, NJ Advance reported.

The incident occurred in Iselin around 7:45 p.m. at Virani Jewelers on Oak Tree Road. Authorities said the masked group were carrying guns and wearing gloves as they followed an employee through the front door.
Workers were forced to the floor by the thieves before they smashed glass display cases, grabbed the jewelry and fled the scene, officials said.
None of the employees’ injuries were serious and the value of the stolen good have not yet been determined.
