HOPE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A two-year-old child is in critical condition after getting hit by a small train attraction at the Land of Make Believe amusement park, according to police.

The toddler was struck around 1:05 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Phillip Curry said.
The child was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
The train, much smaller than a real train, is an attraction designed to bring park-goers on a tour of the grounds.
The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
