
JACKSON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Four tornadoes touched down during Saturday night's storm in New Jersey, the National Weather Service has confirmed.
The tornadoes touched down in Jackson Township, Howell Township, Cinnaminson and Sea Girt.
On Sunday, city officials declared an emergency disaster in the midst of cleanup efforts in parts of central and southern New Jersey.
Six Flags Great Adventure and Safari announced it is closed until Wednesday for the safety of its employees and guests. It's unclear if there was any damage in the park.
Saturday's storm produced hail, lighting and high winds, pulling power lines down.
