ICE CREAM HEIST: Trio steals $640 in Häagen-Dazs from Suffolk County 7-Eleven

HUNTINGTON STATION, N.Y. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police on Long Island are searching for three suspects who allegedly stole more than $600 worth of ice cream from a 7-Eleven last week.

The Suffolk County Police Department released images Tuesday of the trio they're after in the Feb. 12 robbery in Huntington Station.

The trio entered the convenience store at 247 Broadway around 8:20 p.m. and specifically sought out cartons of Häagen-Dazs ice cream, police said.

A total of $640 worth of Häagen-Dazs was stolen, according to police—an amount that would easily equate to dozens of containers of ice cream.

The group fled in a silver Nissan Rogue, police said.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.
