WILDWOOD, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A seagull crashed into a teenage girl as she was flying through the air on an amusement park ride in New Jersey, a park video shows — but neither one was hurt, according to reports.
Pennsylvania resident Kiley Holman, 13, was riding the Springshot with her friend at Morey’s Piers Adventure Pier on July 6 when the bird flew at her, NBC Philadelphia reported.
The seagull was initially traveling away from Holman but ended up flying “right back at me,” she told the outlet.
“I didn’t want to fall out of the ride, so I waited for it to spin over once and then I quickly grabbed it and threw it off,” she said.
The unexpected collision didn’t injure Holman or the seagull, the outlet reported.
