NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating the death of a Virginia man who was shot and killed in Manhattan early Sunday morning, according to authorities.
Police responded to a 911 call of shots fired at approximately 12:15 a.m., at 140 West 102 St. outside the Frederick Douglass Houses in Manhattan Valley, officials said.
Upon arrival, officers observed 27-year-old Ronald Thomas with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded pronounced Thomas dead at the scene.
The victim, who was visiting his brother, had gotten into a dispute with a woman when a gunman pulled up in a car and shot him in the Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 he was seated in, the New York Daily News reported.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
