NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A bout of hot weather and extreme humidity will push RealFeels in NYC towards 100 degrees over the next few days.
Highs will be near 90 degrees on Thursday and Friday, but the humidity will make it feel more like the upper 90s to 100, according to AccuWeather.
The National Weather Service said the heat index could reach 103 degrees during the hot and steamy stretch.

The NWS issued a Heat Advisory for most of the Tri-State, including all of NYC, from Thursday morning until Friday night. It said the advisory will likely be extended to Saturday.
A late day thunderstorm is possible on both Thursday and Friday, with flash flooding and locally damaging winds possible.
Highs will be in the upper 80s to 90 this weekend, with RealFeels still in the 95 to 100 range.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani said the city is opening hundreds of cooling centers across the five boroughs. New Yorkers can find cooling centers at finder.nyc.gov/coolingcenters or by calling 311. The city's roughly 50 outdoor pools are free and open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Public beaches are free and open daily, with lifeguards on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
