NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- New York City experienced its first major snowfall in more than two years on Tuesday, with more than 3 inches recorded in Central Park.
Thick flakes of snow began falling before daybreak and continued throughout the morning as the nor'easter moved across the metro area. Even higher amounts of snow—nearly a foot—were measured in North Jersey and the Hudson Valley.
