NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Stormy weather will bring damaging wind gusts and flooding downpours to the New York City area on Thursday afternoon and evening.

After the storms move through, it will be mostly cloudy and humid with a leftover shower Thursday night. The low will be 69.

Any morning clouds will give way to a partly sunny and breezy Friday. It will be less humid with a high of 80.
