NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A stretch of spring-like weather gets into full swing Thursday, with near-record highs in the 50s expected through the weekend.
Thursday will be sunny in Midtown with a high of 52 degrees, according to AccuWeather. Lows will only dip to around 40 overnight.
The mild temps will continue Friday, when the high will be 56 under partly cloudy skies.

Saturday will be the warmest day of the bunch. The high is set to be 59—just two degrees shy of the record high of 61, set in 2023.
It will otherwise be cloudy Saturday, and a shower can’t be ruled out later in the day and evening.

While it will still be mild and sunny on Sunday—with a high around 55 in the city—temps will begin to drop into the 40s on Monday as stormy weather moves through.
A developing storm has the potential to bring rain late Monday into Tuesday. The system could even mix with, or end as, a little wet snow before brisk and sunny weather returns mid-week.
