CHESHIRE, Conn. (1010 WINS) -- A winning $185 million Powerball ticket was sold in Connecticut, officials said Tuesday.

The winning ticket—with numbers 16-25-27-49-55, a Powerball of 17 and a Power Play of 3x—was drawn Monday night.

The winner purchased the ticket at the One-Stop Convenience store on South Main Street in Cheshire, lotto officials confirmed in a tweet.

The ticket has an estimated jackpot of $185.3 million. The jackpot will reset to $20 million ahead of Wednesday’s drawing.

The announcement came the same day that Gov. Ned Lamont proclaimed Feb. 15 “Connecticut Lottery Day,” as the CT Lottery marked its 50th anniversary Tuesday.
