NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 24-year-old woman was found stabbed to death inside a New Jersey home early Tuesday, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.
The victim was found stabbed on Murphy Place in West New York just before 6 a.m. She was pronounced dead nearly 30 minutes later.
A person of interest is in custody at Hackensack University Medical Center.
Though it wasn't immediately clear what sparked the stabbing, Suarez said the matter is being investigated as an act of domestic violence.
