HOPE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WCBS 880) -- A 69-year-old woman died after a head-on crash Thursday morning with a dump truck in New Jersey, state authorities said.
The crash happened just before 11 a.m. when the Kenworth dump truck, heading northbound on County Route 521, New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry said.

According to officials, the truck crossed the double yellow line near Dogwood Drive and sideswiped a southbound Grumman Allied LLV U.S. Mail vehicle.
Police said Mary Ann Boatman was driving a Honda CRV behind the U.S. Mail truck when she was struck by the dump truck head-on.
Boatman suffered fatal injuries and the driver of the dump truck suffered minor injuries, Curry said.
The driver of the U.S. Mail vehicle was not injured.
An investigation remains ongoing.
