
NORWICH, Conn. (1010 WINS) -- A woman is in critical condition after they were struck by a school bus in Connecticut Friday morning, according to authorities.
Just before 10 a.m., police received multiple 911 calls reporting a crash involving a school bus and a pedestrian with serious injuries in the vicinity of 100 Town St. in Norwich.
The pedestrian, who police identified as an adult woman, was transported to Backus Hospital where she remains in critical condition, officials said.
There were no students on the bus, according to the authorities.
Town Street was closed between West Town Street and New London Turnpike while police conducted an investigation.
