
UNION CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after a 32-year-old pedestrian was critically injured by a hit-and-run driver in New Jersey over the weekend.
The woman was struck at around 9 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 22 on 17th Street near Bergenline Avenue in Union City, according to officials.
Responding officers located the victim with serious injuries.
The driver fled the scene. EMS transported the woman to Jersey City Medical Center where she remains in critical condition.
The vehicle is suspected of being involved in the collision but there have been no arrests made, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said.
