Adoree’ Jackson joined BT and Sal for his weekly spot after the Giants finished up their season with a win over the Eagles, but the big story was the sudden resignation of defensive coordinator Wink Martindale, just hours after head coach Brian Daboll told reporters that he expected Martindale to be back.

The resignation fueled speculation that reports of a feud between Daboll and Martindale were true, but Jackson insists that he had no idea.

“It’s not like I saw any disposition in the body language that would display that there was something wrong,” Jackson said. “Me seeing that…it was shocking to see he just left like that.

“Seeing them in our meetings or on the field and talking, maybe they can win an Oscar. Because if there was a problem, they did a good job acting and showing that there wasn’t one.”

Jackson praised the work Martindale did with the Giants defense, mainly his ability to get the team in a position to succeed on Sundays.

“I think Wink did a great job of getting people in position,” Jackson said.
