Al Dukes’ morning got off to an interesting start on Wednesday, as he was confronted by a biker in the city after making a left turn that the biker must have thought was too close to where he was approaching the intersection.
Al thought he had plenty of time to make the turn before the biker approached. Clearly, the biker disagreed. So we’ll let Al take it from here to detail what happened after making his turn to eventually park his car.
“I go to back into the spot, and now the guy on the bicycle is right next to my car,” Al said. “He throws his bicycle down, and with all his might, punches my passenger side window. Twice.
“He’s looking at me and pointing at his eyes and my eyes, like he wants me to get out of the car and fight him, I guess. Then he roundhouse kicked my side view mirror, and then roundhouse kicked my passenger side door, as hard as you could punch or kick a car.
“Then he got in front of my car and was staring at my license plate. I guess he was trying to find the right license plate so he could go and smash it afterwards…so I drove really far away and just circled back.”
