The glove, which has been put up for sale on Lelands Sports Memorabilia and Card Auctions, already has 12 bids and is currently up to $375. According to their website, they list the item as "a tangible memento from an iconic NFL moment.” The auction for the glove originally started off at $81.

The story behind why this glove is even up for auction started when Bucs head coach Bruce Arians asked Brown to re-enter the game against the Jets. When Brown refused to do so due to his claim of having a bad ankle, which Arians vehemently denies, the seven-time Pro Bowler took off his shoulder pads and threw both his compression shirt and gloves into the crowd before exiting through the tunnel at MetLife Stadium.

Whatever the truth may be behind this story, it will take a lot of convincing from NFL owners and GM's to want someone like Brown in their teams' locker room.

Since the incident, Brown has been spotted at a Knicks game, paling around with celebrities and doing a media tour. On an episode of "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel' Brown, along with his attorney Sean said that the Bucs turned the altercation into a mental-health issue, offering the 33-year-old wideout $200K to go to the 'crazy house' and threatened that they could sue the franchise for defamation.

“The offer was Antonio would basically sit on the sidelines, go on some list — and commit himself to some form of intensive mental health treatment,” Burstyn said. “And we were specifically told, in writing, by the general manager, twice, ‘Don’t spin this any other way.’”

The auction for Brown's glove is set to end on Feb. 12, the day before the Super Bowl.
