Eddie Scozzare had some fun with a few audio clips from Jerry and Al’s Warmup Show, which came at the expense of Boomer in today’s Moment of the Day.
Eddie, the master audio cutter, spliced together some audio from Al to make him say this:
“Biggest f-ing a-hole in my life: Boomer.”
Eddie then played the cut audio from Jerry, which sounded a lot smoother than Al’s but only because this segment was uncut:
“Boomer Esiason blows at his job,” Jerry said.
Jerry quickly came to his own defense, urging that context is everything.
“I was trying to make a comparison that Gerrit Cole had been so good over his career, but he’s going through a rough patch,” Jerry said. “Boomer is going great, the show is going great, but what if all of a sudden Boomer blows at his job? That’s pretty much what I was saying. He would be judged differently at that time. Eddie took the first few parts out.”
Regardless, Boomer wasn’t too happy with the hate, artificial or not.
