Evan & Tiki put up a poll this week wondering who had the better NFL career, Tiki or Boomer Esiason?
The poll got almost 11,000 votes and the results saw Boomer win 55.6 to 44.4 percent, but BT & Sal then took that and turned it into a segment where Brandon said he would have ‘loved to be Boomer’s teammate, because he was a winner, but Tiki had the better career.”
How did Boomer feel about that, even as Gio noted BT was sticking up for his former partner?
“I have nothing but respect for Tiki Barber’s career, one of the most durable players to ever play his position,” Boomer said. “I appreciate is that BT respects the fact that we both played in the NFL and he appreciates the fact, and he's sticking up for a guy that he worked with for 10 years. I would hope that you guys would do the same.”
As for Sal Licata, he gave Boomer a ton of dap for being an MVP, but ‘if it’s who’s a nicer guy, that may be a little different.’
“Sal and I were always good until he changed his fandom from Rangers to Islanders,” Boomer said. “Such a suck-up.”
