Brian Daboll named Tyrod Taylor the Giants starting quarterback against the Rams on Sunday, and while many are mourning what seems to be the end of the Tommy DeVito story, C-Mac believes it is nothing more than the inevitable coming to fruition.

“Who cares? I’m sorry, but this narrative that they need to figure out who Tommy DeVito is, Tommy DeVito is at best a serviceable quarterback in the NFL, at best,” C-Mac said. “I know we’ve been talking about this for weeks…we have established that the Giants don’t have a quarterback. They need to go get one in the draft, so there are your two quarterbacks. A drafted quarterback, and Danny Dimes coming off ACL surgery.”

With that in mind, C-Mac doesn’t see DeVito or Taylor having any kind of impact on the Giants future, so who starts on Sunday doesn’t really matter. In fact, all that matters to C-Mac is Big Blue improving their draft stock to take the franchise’s future quarterback.

“I don’t care about developing Tommy DeVito. I don’t care about Tyrod Taylor,” C-Mac said. “I don’t care about these last two games…I honestly hope the Giants lost.”
