Brooklyn Nets waive Keon Johnson

BROOKLYN (Sept. 17, 2025) – The Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on guard Keon Johnson.

Johnson was originally signed by Brooklyn on July 21, 2024. In the 2024-25 season, he saw action in 79 games (56 starts), posting averages of 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 24.4 minutes per game. Johnson appeared in 84 games (56 starts) across two seasons (2023-25) with the Nets, registering averages of 10.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 23.6 minutes per game. The four-year veteran has played in 161 games (68 starts) with the Los Angeles Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers and Nets, recording career averages of 8.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 19.2 minutes per contest.
