BT goes scorched earth on NCAA selection committee after leaving out St. John's: 'Clown show'

BT didn’t wait until Monday morning’s show to give his thoughts on St. John’s and Seton Hall being snubbed from the NCAA Tournament.

Instead, he took to X (formerly known as Twitter), to slam the committee’s selection process and sound off on the “circus” that resulted in a team like the Johnnies, 32nd in NET rating, being left out of the tournament.

“Nice job, committee. Nice job. You guys suck. Awful,” BT said. “You want to talk about a dereliction of duty? This is absolutely disgraceful.
You got the defending champion UConn, Marquette has been a top 10 basically all year, Creighton has been phenomenal all year, top 15.

“St. John’s got absolutely hosed…to sit in that room and shove those stupid, meaningless metrics down our throat every single week and every single year…here’s an idea, dopes. If you’re not gonna use them or abide by them, get rid of them.”

The Big East only sends three teams to March Madness this year despite being among the most competitive conferences in the country. The Red Storm, coming off a game in which it pushed top-ranked UConn to the brink for the second time this season, is not one of those teams. It is the first time a team ranked that high in NET was left out since North Carolina State (33) was spurned in 2019, which also happens to be the last time St. John’s earned a March Madness bid.

BT says it is an all-time flop by the committee, and didn’t hold back when giving his instant reaction.

“What a clown show,” BT said. “I would love to have a camera on that circus…clowns. Morons. Dopes. You officially butchered it…you should be ashamed of yourselves.

“You failed on the most colossal level that you can possibly fail on. Congrats. Clown show.”
