The Steelers have signed Russell Wilson after the quarterback had an “exploratory meeting” with the Giants, and while the veteran didn’t end up in New York, C-Mac says Big Blue’s interest means the team has tipped its hand on where they go from here.
“You do not bring in a Russell Wilson to play him a couple games before you go back to Daniel Jones,” C-Mac said. “You do not bring that man, with his resume and expectations of starting…unless you are moving on from Daniel Jones.
“That, at least for me, is a view into the Giants thinking. I do believe the reports that they’re done with Daniel Jones. I do believe they’re targeting a quarterback with the sixth pick.”
