C-Mac: Leon Rose, Knicks have earned 'benefit of the doubt' with any move they make

As he watches the Knicks thrive on the road without two of their top contributors in Julius Randle and OG Anunoby, C-Mac can’t help but marvel at the team’s ability to build a deep, strong team filled with players that not only know their role, but thrive when asked to change that role.

That is a product of Leon Rose’s ability to build a team.

“The Anunoby trade has been one of the more impactful in-season trades that I can think of for almost any team. This team has completely transformed,” C-Mac said. “It’s one of the more impactful in-season trades we have seen in this city, let alone the Knicks. At least right now.

“Right now, I trust the Knicks and their decision making, and Thibs and Rose as a team, to dissect what they need and make a move. Even if it’s something we’re not thinking of…every single move they’ve made had been impactful in a positive way over the last year.”

There are more moves that have to be made to cement the Knicks as one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, and the team needs to keep it rolling until Randle can return, but C-Mac trusts Rose to do what is necessary.

“I don’t care what they bring in. They get the benefit of the doubt with me,” C-Mac said. “I think they have their finger on the pulse of this team as well as any other front office group in this city, as well as any front office group in the NBA.”
