C-Mac: Malik Nabers already looking like one of NFL's top wide receivers

The Giants are on the board in 2024, securing their first win of the season with a 21-15 victory over the Browns on Sunday in Cleveland.

The big story for Big Blue was Malik Nabers, who had his breakout game with eight receptions, 78 yards, and two touchdowns, including a dazzling grab in the corner of the end zone as the Giants came back from a (very) early 7-0 deficit.

Chris McMonigle says Nabers has arrived, he is for real, and he has given Daniel Jones and the Giants the stud WR1 they have craved since Odell Beckham Jr.

“Being able to watch a player like this, it’s been a long time. At least at the wide receiver position,” C-Mac said.

“I don’t know if any of us thought he would be this dynamic.”

Nabers has been everything the Giants could have hoped for when they took him sixth overall in the NFL Draft earlier this year, and he and Jones have already built a chemistry that has real potential, and C-Mac says his ceiling is sky high.

“All of the things Daniel Jones didn’t have or weren’t given by this organization…Daniel Jones needed a stud, No. 1 wide receiver,” C-Mac said. “And his impact on this offense…he has come onto the NFL field and immediately stepped in to be one of the best wide receivers in the game.”
