C-Mac sympathizes with Aaron Boone and his quest to find a productive lineup while nearly nobody outside of Juan Soto and Aaron Judge are producing, but if there is one gripe that he has with the starting nine, it is the absence of Oswaldo Cabrera.
“Oswaldo Cabrera should be in this lineup. I’m tired of it,” C-Mac said. “I’ve seen enough…but there are no good options. That’s what you take away from this Yankee lineup”
C-Mac believes Cabrera is the one outlier in this case, a superior option to DJ LeMahieu, who did have a single on Tuesday night, but also made an error on a slow chopper to third base, and is still batting below .200 on the season.
“I’m tired of him not playing when the options are terrible,” C-Mac said. “Including DJ LeMahieu, who cannot play third base.”
