Draymond Green is riding high after winning his fourth NBA title over his decade-plus-long career with the Golden State Warriors. He's also cemented himself as the leader of the "New Media," movement, which consists of former and current professional athletes that have their own platforms and are free from perpetuating "old media" tactics and narratives.

The All-Star forward had some time on his hands Monday night to call out a segment that aired on SportsCenter. He took issue with one of the anchors who labeled Kevin Durant as emotional.

The anchor was joined by NBA reporter Nick Friedell to discuss the drama regarding where the future Hall of Famer will end up getting traded. During that conversation, the anchor proceeded to call Durant emotional, which upset Green enough to send out a tweet late Monday night.

"Just watched the anchor on Sportscenter with Nick Fredell discuss KD wanting a trade, and called him emotional," Green said on Twitter. "Who are you to call someone emotional? What makes you comfortable? Talk BASKETBALL! Computers got y’all overly comfortable. TNM"

Durant heading back to the bay area has been one of the multiple teams that have speculative interest in the superstar forward after he announced he wants out of Brooklyn after Kyrie Irving opted into his player option. If the Warriors do want him back, they will likely have to sacrifice a bulk of the same core that helped in bringing them back to the championship.

When it comes to Green's free will to attack traditional media outlets and not play by the rules extended to the court first before it was ever being discussed in the media sphere. Star players have all the leverage in the world, beginning with LeBron James leaving for Miami in 2010. The era of players feeling obliged to stay due to a long contract or for "team loyalty" is pretty much-gone extinct.

As a deal between the Suns and the Pacers near a deal for former No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton, any trade between them and Brooklyn would be highly unlikely with Ayton as a bargaining chip.

No one knows when a deal will be done but according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, there is a "real possibility" that Durant could end up staying in Brooklyn if a deal isn't done by the start of training camp.
