The Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating contest was back in front of a full crowd on Coney Island this Sunday, but those watching from home may not have gotten the best viewing experience.
As Joey Chestnut set a new world record by downing 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes, many enthusiasts who watch the Fourth of July tradition were quite upset when the ESPN broadcast of the event began experiencing technical difficulties.
Those watching on TV got a distorted view with the feed cutting out multiple times, including right as Chestnut was making history.
