Saquon Barkley went viral on Wednesday after telling a story of his five-year-old daughter asking, ‘Does that mean we’re gonna win now?’ when she found out her father was signing with the Eagles.
Evan, not even sure if the story Barkley told ever actually happened, said that regardless if it was real or not, it was in bad taste.
“I think it was very, very wrong...what Saquon Barkley did today to Giants fans while he was having a good laugh was wrong, and it was disgusting,” Evan said. “And I’m convinced he made the story up about his beautiful young daughter.
“Do you think she said that? Even if she did say that, Saquon, what are you doing? You want to start a war with Giant fans?”
Evan wouldn’t be surprised if Barkley throwing shade at his former team only escalates from here, and turns into the running back taking shots at former teammates.
“You know what’s next? I don’t know when it’s gonna happen, but it’s coming…he’s gonna take a shot at Daniel Jones,” Evan said. “It’s coming.
“He knew what it was doing. He threw shade at the New York Giants.”
