Fatukasi’s agents confirmed to multiple sources that the defensive tackle will get a three-year, $30 million deal from the Jaguars, with $20 million guaranteed.

ESPN’s Rich Cimini reported that the Jets had been talking to Fatukasi’s reps at Sportstars, but the price was “too rich for the Jets within their DL salary structure.”

Fatukasi, 27, was the Jets’ sixth-round pick in 2018, and he recorded 46 tackles in1 5 games last season. Over his career, the big man out of UConn has 105 tackles, three sacks, and one forced fumble in 45 games with Gang Green.

Monday was the beginning of the NFL’s “legal tampering” period, ahead of the new league year that officially starts Wednesday, and Jacksonville was active early, adding Fotukasi to a free agent haul that also reportedly includes former Washington guard Brandon Scherff and ex-Falcons linebacker Foye Oluokun.
