Giants fans aren’t happy with watching a bitter rival play in a Super Bowl, but some are now lamenting a Chiefs touchdown at the expense of the hated Eagles.
Why? Because it was Kadarius Toney walking in for a go-ahead score early in the fourth quarter on a 5-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes.
Then again, maybe Toney should be thanked for helping stick it to New York's divisional rival.
Toney, a former first-round pick for Big Blue, was dealt to the Chiefs after injuries, absence from voluntary offseason workouts, and more injuries. Traded away for a third and a sixth-round pick, Toney’s brief and turbulent Giants tenure represented a failure to address an area of desperate need with the organization at wide receiver.

Now, with the Giants watching from home, Toney waltzed into the end zone for a Super Bowl touchdown, and minutes later, nearly ran an Eagles punt back for a touchdown, but settled for a 65-yard return to the Philly 5-yard line to set up an eventual touchdown to open up an eight-point lead.
