Giants legend Justin Tuck joined Boomer and Gio on the first football Friday of the year to look at the season ahead for Big Blue, and he had to throw some shade at the rival Cowboys when talking about Dallas’ run of success against New York in recent years.

“This is gonna sound like a slight to the Cowboys,” Tuck said. “I slighted them enough during my career where I don’t have to do it now in retirement, but we won the ones that mattered.

“We clinched our playoff run in MetLife as well in 2011 before we went on to win the Super Bowl, something the Cowboys don’t know a lot about lately.”

Dallas will be going for its fifth straight win against New York on Sunday night, and its 12th in the last 13 tries. Tuck’s Giants teams saw more success against the Cowboys during his playing days, and he believes the current Giants squad is moving in the right direction to take back control of the rivalry.

“I would put that rivalry slightly ahead of our rivalry with the Eagles,” Tuck said. “I know this football team and this fanbase is excited to get the Cowboys early in the year in our stadium. It’s gonna be electric and a great game. The Cowboys have a great team, but I feel like it’s our turn now.”
