The Giants lost Dante Pettis with a shoulder injury after a muffed punt early in the second quarter…and suffered another blow to the receiving corps when Sterling Shepard was ruled out for the second half with a quad issue.
Shepard, who sat out Week 7 with a hamstring injury and has missed three games due to injury this season, stumbled as he ran a route with less than 30 seconds left in the first half, and stopped short as a pass thrown his way fell incomplete.
He came off the field slowly and was seen flexing his leg on the sidelines as the Giants finished their drive, and walked slowly to the tunnel at halftime before being ruled out.

Shepard led Giants receivers with 28 catches and was second with 299 yards entering Monday night, and had four catches for 25 yards in the first half.
