After falling to the Jets on Sunday to drop to 2-6 on the season, the Giants have reportedly begun selling off pieces ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Big Blue is sending Pro Bowl defensive lineman Leonard Williams to the Seahawks.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, New York will receive a 2024 second-round pick, and a 2025 fifth-round pick, in return for Williams, a former sixth overall pick who signed a $63 million contract that expires after this season.

The trade brings in draft capital for the Giants, and brings financial flexibility, in a move that the Evan and Tiki crew unanimously declares a home run.

“That is a tremendous, tremendous trade by Joe Schoen,” Evan said. “You got a second and a fifth for a guy who is a free agent at the end of the year, and you don’t know if you’re gonna re-sign him.”
