The Giants and cornerback Greg Newsome II have agreed on a new three-year, $46 million deal, according to multiple reports, including ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Newsome, 26, signed a one-year deal with Big Blue this past offseason. He has one interception and 17 tackles so far this season.
Per Schefter, the contract includes $32 million in guaranteed money.
A former first-round draft pick, Newsome was selected 26th overall by the Browns in 2021, and was traded to the Jaguars in 2025. Now, he is part of a Giants secondary that is enjoying a bit of a renaissance under John Harbaugh, as the likes of Newsome and Deonte Banks have each seen their play improve in year one of the Harbaugh era.
Newsome and the Giants are coming out of the bye week with a 4-2-1 record and in first place in a scuffling NFC East.
The cornerback has won over John Harbaugh and company in his first season with the team.
