A caller asked Gio what the difference is between Zach Wilson and Kirk Cousins, and let’s just say Gio was ready to go with his response.
“Here’s your improvement,” Gio said of Wilson. “He went from the stone-worst quarterback I have ever seen in my life to a guy who just can’t get it done and isn’t any good. Is that better for you?
“Where do you think Kirk Cousins ranks in yards so far this season?”
When the caller, Neil, continued to say that rankings didn’t matter to him, Gio sent him packing.
“God, you brainless balloonheads. Here you go, balloon face,” Gio said. “Kirk Cousins, second in yards in the NFL. Zach Wilson…he’s 24th. And you think ‘Oh, that’s good, he’s not 32nd.’ He’s actually last among guys that have played six games.”
